Sunrise on Mt. Christy, Japsper NP

Nikon F5, 35-70mm f/2.8 AF-D, Matrix Metering, 5 sec, f/16, Velvia, +0.7ev, 2 Stop ND Grad, Blue/Yellow Polarizer, Gitzo 410.

There are a couple interesting element in this image. First, I used the river in the foreground to lead the viewer into the image. Its diagonal lines are catchy tend to guide viewers into the middle of the image and keep them interested--which is a good thing. Second, I added a Blue/Yellow Polarizer to accept the sky and add some color. Funny enough, the sky you see here was the most of the day and adding the polarizer made the best of a mundane morning.
