Road and Fall Foliage, Bishop Canyon, CA - October 2001
Nikon F5, 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5, E100SW, Matrix Metering, 1/15sec, f/11, Handheld, Blue/Yellow Polarizer.
I designed this image completely to lead the viewer up the road and around the corner. I wanted to create a tourist feeling of checking out the fall colors from the comfort of their car. In this case, I took special care not to include anything that could distract the viewer away from the path. Honestly, the colors aren't the subject or the focus of the image. The path up the road was what I was trying to emphasize.
