Sunlight on Mountains

Nikon D100, 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5, Matrix Metering, Gitzo 410 This location is interesting in that the terrain is severely eroded by an unknown source. I suspect the primary cause is the Big Horn Sheep the frequent the area and feed. Their droppings are all over the place and it looks like they munched away all the protective grass and most of the sand/soil simply flew away in the common intense winds. The parts that remained were the few isolated locations with grass. Quite interesting.
