I have a saying; sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. In this case, we were returning from a long day shooting moose and other wildlife in Jasper NP. While we were in the cars, we watched the colors brighten. Unfortunately, we were mostly spectators because we really didn't have anything to compose with the colors and therefore decided to keep driving. Well, I gave up and stopped at the last moment at a fairly common senic overlook. I grabed my gear and went for a tight shot of the mountains. Instead of just living with the single exposure, I fired three in quick succession to make a panorama. The light was changing fast. Not two minutes after making these shots, the color faded.
