This guy is just beginning to show the long snout of a mature male Elephant Seal. Even at this age, he weighs over 2,000 lbs. By the time he's fully grown, he tip the scales over 5,000 lbs. The simple expression on his face belays the intense situation on the beach where males continually jockey for positions for mating rights.
