Great Egret Landing

Nikon D1h, 500mm f/4 AF-S, Matrix Metering, -0.7ev, 1/250sec, f/4, ISO 400, SB-28DX, -1.7ev Matrix Balance Fill, Gitzo 410, Wimberly Sidekick.

I was quite surprised when this guy took off for a short flight towards me. I had barely enough time to point the camera before he had landed. The image isn't the sharpest in the world because orf a bit of camera shake. I wasn't very smooth jumping into action.
