Great Egret Hunting

Nikon D1h, 500mm f/4 AF-S, Matrix Metering, 1/15, f/4, ISO 800, SB-28DX, -1.7ev Matrix Balanced Fill, RAW Format, Auto WB, Auto Tone, Gitzo 410, Wimberly Sidekick.

Since the light was so low, I knew I could get away without any exposure compensation. I also knew I couldn't set a higher ISO without really increasing the digital noise. I accepted a very slow shutter speed and hoped for the best. It seemed to work out.
