Snow Goose In-Flight

There are huge flocks of birds at Bosque del Apache NWR. many times throughout the day, these flocks would take to flight in huge irruptions of white. The challenge for the photographer is to make an intimate image of one of these birds and show their association with the rest of the flock without overly confusing the background. These kinds of images are environmental shots that show how the bird lives. I actually like them a lot but find the mechanics quite difficult.
