Sandhill Crane In-Fight

Nikon D1h, 500mm f/4 AF-S, Matrix Metering, 1/500sec, f/4, ISO 400, RAW Format, Gitzo 410, Wimberly Side Kick.

This image is warm for two reasons. 1) The morning's sun had just crested the surrounding mountains. 2) I lowered the overall brightness which tended to enhance the saturation of the image. I cropped about 10% from the top of the image.
