Bald Eagle Calling

Nikon F5, 500mm f/2.8 AF-S, TC-20e, Matrix Metering, f/0, 1/90, Kinesis Bean Bag, E100SW.

For some reason my 500mm f/4 AF-S combined with a TC-20e requires active manual focus. To shoot this bird, I had to precisely focus the lens while maintaining the composition. He was quite agitated and moved his head around alot so it was a bit of a challenge. This was part of a series of ten images and by far the sharpest.
