Dove Portrait

The Japanese language really doesn't have a separate word for dove. The group all the birds english speakers would clearly call a dove with pigeons. While pigeons are really doves, the name conjurs up images of something unclean. In this case, this dove frequented my aunt's backyard and I took advantage of its tolerance with shooting portraits at my lens' minimum focus distance.
