Nikon D1h, 300mm f/2.8 AF-S, TC-20e, TC-14e, Incident Metering, 1/500sec, f/8, Gitzo 410, Wimberly Head.
Like the previous image, this was taken with stacked converters to maximize the focal length. If you look closely, the image is just oh so slightly soft due to my poor ability to accurately track the bird's moving head while manually focussing. You can't rely on the AF features of your camera when you're stacking converters like I was. The only thing you can do is manual focus and hope for the best.
