Trying to get started in nature photography but am a little overwhelmed by the amount of equipment out there? Here's my advice for the new photographer on when to get your gear.

There are many out there on the step to become very serious with their photography. They're weighing the next purchase--after reading my "what to buy first article" of course--between getting a new fangle technology digital camera or staying with old reliable, analog film. Here's a comparison between the two mediums and a couple of my opinions of what I think of the differences.

If you're into shooting with a long lens--anything equal to or greater than 300mm's, this is a must read article. With a few tips, you can take super sharp images without even thinking about it.
