So, here we are at a crossroads. A new career is about to begin and I'm super excited about it. If it's anything like I've been enjoying this month, I have every reason to be excited.
- I'm excited about spending time creating new material for this website. Who knows, I might be able to do 12 articles in a row.
- I'm looking forward to developing new images to show off every month on this website and at home.
- I'm looking forward to regularly changing the images on the walls at the house. After all, when you buy standard sized frames, and print standard sized prints, there's no reason you can't change your art on regular basis.
- I'm eagerly anticipating instructing at more workshops and devoting more time to the whole art of teaching someone on the finer details of making great pictures. BTW, I taught at exactly zero workshops in 2004. That's two fewer than 2003. Things can only get better.
- Last but not least, I'm looking forward to supporting my wife with my unique skills to further her career as a free-lance writer.
Wow, there's a lot to look forward to. Oh, just so you know, I went on three relatively major photography expeditions in December 2004. The first was to Bosque del Apache at the beginning of the month. Next was three day visit to Zion and Arches NP in Utah. And finally, I went to Piedras Blancas to shoot pictures of Elephant Seals. Overall, a very successfull month. Hopefully, there will be many more to come.
Cheers
Tom
