Though the "perfect" way for shooting senics is using your tripod, sometimes it's just better to break the rules. In this case, I had my Nikon D1h out and decided to grab a shot of the landscape in the morning sun. The colors and saturation is subtle and even though the shot was handheld, the detials appear to hold pretty nicely.
