After the feeding frenzy is complete, the birds hang around the area seemingly digesting their morning feast. This bird was within 30 ft of my car perched comfortably on a log. The lighting conditions were terrible. Still, the overcast skies made an even light that didn't explode the highlights of this bird's head. Anymore light would've been difficult controlling.
