When the feeding frenzy begins, you have no idea how crowded it will get. The eagles will first let the Gulls at the fish but before too long, they'll jump into the fray and move the gulls out of the way. After a while, none of the gulls have access to any meat and eagles are all that are around. Even then, eagles--naturally shy--are reluctant to lower their heads and dig into a good meal. They constantly look around and assess the situation. |
