Like the previous image, this was taken during wonderful natural light conditions. The difficult part was properly metering this situation. The white of the Bald Eagle's head combined with his dark body makes for a very trying exposure condition. I dependent on my F5's matrix metering and using the upper focus sensor which seemed to work with flying colors. If I used the center or lower focus sensor, the head may not have been exposed properly.
