There are two things I need to way about this image. Sometimes the light just comes together without any special planning. Those times are rare and quick action needs to take place to maximize the opportunity. Some call this light "butter light". Whatever the name, it's special and makes photography undeniably easier. The other thing is about my 300mm f/2.8 AF-S. Even though I've had frustrating experiences with this teleconverter and my 500mm f/4 AF-S, it's performing flawlessly for this image. There's a very slight quality loss with the TC-20e but mostly it's impercipable. It's a wonderful lens.
