I attempted to get a head and shoulders shot of this very cooperative bird. I worked my way towards him taking very small steps and shooting images along the way. As he was just filling the view-finder enough to cut off his tail, a car drove along the road and honked a "greeting" at me. I looked up in time to see my subject's tail feathers as he flew into the woods.
