I shot this guy using Fuji Velvia film. I don't get many opportunities for using Velvia for wildlife because of its slow speed. Unfortunately, Velvia push a stop starts becoming extremely contrasty. The best situations for Velvia with wildlife is brightly lite, highly overcast days. That way you get an even light distribution along with enough brightness to use an acceptable shutter speed. This guy what shot on just such a day. If it weren't so slow, I'd be shooting it all the time. Oh well...
