Medicine Lake as many unique characteristics. Not the least is that it practically empties every year and in the fall leaves only a small stream flowing through where a deep lake once stood. This image was taken on the lake bed of Medicine Lake next to the small stream. In the distance, you can see Pyramide Mountain at the base of the pass.
