On the way to Maligne Lake along Medicine Lake is a winding road that's occasionally populated with a large herd of Big Horn Sheep. This Sheep's portrait was taken right next to the road. When you move slowly, they are very easy to approach and make great photographs. I used a wide aperture for a very small DOF. I also had it slightly stopped down to avoid a bit of corner light fall-off that's characteristic of this lens at f/2.8.
