Big Horned Sheep during various times throughout the year cluster at specific points in Jasper NP. These locations appear to be rich in minerals that the sheep need in their diets. These Sheep are resting from a morning of "eating" the ground to get at those minerals. The slope they're on was very steep though not as vertical as this image might show.
